PURPOSE / OBJECTIVES
Provides chemical process support in multiple areas in a manufacturing environment. The process areas include raw materials, production processing and finished product testing and analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Provides chemical process support in multiple areas in a manufacturing environment including product trials, new chemical trials, product specification new chemical trials.
• Recorded and analysed changes in chemicals and processes.
• Will function within a divisional and finished product testing and analysis.
• To assume responsibility for all aspects of the chemical process for a manufacturing location.
• Responsible for reporting on the analysis of process parameters, process capability and tests relating to the manufacture of a quality product.
• Laboratory management & chemical analysis to ensured efficient laboratory operations and achieved departmental targets.
• Reports key findings and issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Communicate with other teams and departments within the business are crucial.
• Other tasks as required.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent desired with an emphasis in mechanical, chemical, polymer science,
• engineering or related technical field.
• 3 years+ experience gained in same position.
• Know about SPC, 6 sigma or other analysis software desirable.
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook.
• Must be self-motivated, independent, and adaptable.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
• Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written English communication skills.
• Must have the desire to strive for continuous improvement and excellence within a fast-paced growth environment.
• Team player.
