CNC Production Planner

The A CNC Production Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating the production activities of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, ensuring efficient and timely manufacturing of products. CNC Production Planner is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a production team that uses CNC machines to manufacture metal products. This role involves developing and managing the production plan and schedule, production process, ensuring quality, and meeting customer demands while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Production Planning and Scheduling: Determine production schedules and plans to meet customer demands, ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of CNC engineers (mechanical and quality), operators, machinists, QC inspectors and other production staff to ensure efficient and effective production.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of CNC machines, ensuring they are in good working condition and minimizing downtime.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead, to ensure profitability.
• Safety and Housekeeping: Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with company management, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless production and delivery of products.
