Destination Expert - Thailand

We are currently seeking a Destination Expert - Thailand to serve as the primary point of contact for our expanding global network of agents who book travel experiences in the destination the company is selling. In this role, your primary responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities:
Booking Coordination and Support:
• Serve as the main contact for agent bookings within the designated territory, fostering strong relationships and providing personalized support.
• Coordinate reservations with our extensive network of suppliers, ensuring seamless execution of travel arrangements.
• Maintain detailed records of bookings and communicate relevant information to internal stakeholders as needed.
• Ensure a smooth flow of service from the initial inquiry stage to the completion of the trip, proactively addressing any issues that may arise along the way.
• Utilize online booking platforms to make reservations for accommodations, transportation, activities, and other travel-related services.
• Verify accuracy of bookings and promptly address any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
Operations and Reservations
• Create bookings for fixed-price packages, ensuring product quality and profitability are aligned with company targets.
• Follow up on booking reservations and reconfirm services to ensure smooth operations.
• Liaise with suppliers to verify rates, bookings and address concerns.
• Monitor all bookings in your destination and reconfirm services for seamless delivery.
• Coordinate logistics for client itineraries and ensure all necessary arrangements are made in a timely manner.
• Deliver vouchers to agents in a timely manner.
• Offer excellent customer service, resolving travel issues promptly for clients.
Team Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate effectively with the Finance teams and Customer Service Teams, providing support and sharing insights to optimize processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service delivery and customer experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends and developments, sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
Product Contracting with Local Suppliers:
• Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure competitive rates for travel products and services.
• Negotiate best rates and build strong relationships with suppliers and ensure timely renewals of agreements.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and policies during the contracting process by selecting suppliers who align with Vio's service levels.
• Handle product-related requests and find cost-efficient solutions.
• Support product contracting as required.
Loading Products into the Booking Platform:
• Input and update travel products and services into the booking platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Regularly review and update product listings to reflect changes in availability, pricing, or terms.
General Support to Clients on the Ground:
• Provide assistance and support to clients during their travels, including resolving issues, answering inquiries, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain open communication channels with clients to address any concerns and ensure a positive travel experience.
Yêu cầu
Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of your country as a travel destination.
• Proven experience in product contracting and negotiations.
• Familiarity with travel industry systems and reservations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility for occasional product contracting.
