Due to the continued growth of our office, we are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Finance & Operations Associate based in Vietnam to support our regional finance and administrative operations. This role involves end-to-end support in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and internal processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams across Southeast Asia.
What You Will Do:
• Manage full set of accounts - including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing - ensure timely and accurate financial closure.
• Prepare financial statements - P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Oversee tax compliance - VAT, PIT, CIT, and FCT filings and payments.
• Process payroll - salary calculations, statutory deductions, and payments.
• Manage employee claims - verify and record reimbursements in payroll.
• Ensure statutory reporting - social insurance, labor reports, and aud
it support.
• Support budgeting and forecasting - contribute to planning and cost control.
• Liaise with external parties - including auditors, tax authorities, and banks.
• Use accounting systems - such as SAP, MISA, or other ERP software.
• Handle administrative tasks such as document/contract management, submitting documents for the legal representative's signature, renewing token devices upon expiry, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or consulting roles in Vietnam.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnam tax regulations and statutory compliance (VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT, SI/HI/UI).
• Comfortable working with Excel (e.g., pivot tables) and research databases.
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing, staff claims, and labor reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general financial reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese (both written and verbal).
• Collaborative team player with strong planning and execution skills.
