FOOTWEAR TECHNICIAN- Temp 6 Months (working location: HCM)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Material Science
• Understanding of Materials: Knowledge of different materials used in shoe manufacturing, such as leather, synthetic fabrics, rubber, foam, and adhesives.
• Material Properties: Understanding the properties of these materials, including durability, flexibility, breathability, and weight.
2. Engineering and Manufacturing
• Footwear Construction Techniques: Familiarity with various construction methods like stitching, molding, and assembly.
• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including cutting, sewing, lasting, and finishing.
• Prototyping: Experience in creating and testing prototypes to refine designs and ensure functionality.
3. Biomechanics and Ergonomics
• Foot Anatomy: Understanding the anatomy of the foot and how it interacts with footwear.
• Comfort and Fit: Knowledge of how to design shoes that provide optimal comfort, support, and fit.
• Gait Analysis: Ability to analyze walking and running patterns to design shoes that enhance performance and reduce injury.
4. Technology Integration
• CAD Software: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating detailed shoe designs.
• 3D Printing: Experience with 3D printing technology for rapid prototyping and custom designs.
• Smart Footwear: Understanding of integrating technology into footwear, such as sensors for tracking activity or performance.
5. Quality Control and Testing
• Testing Methods: Knowledge of various testing methods to ensure the durability, safety, and performance of shoes.
• Standards and Regulations: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to footwear manufacturing.
6. Sustainability
• Eco-friendly Materials: Knowledge of sustainable materials and practices in shoe manufacturing.
• Waste Reduction: Techniques for reducing waste and improving the environmental impact of shoe production.
