FullStack Web Developer PHP/JavaScript

What you will do with us

You will play a key role within XPON Technologies as one of our Full Stack Developers. You will work closely with our clients and your colleagues in producing high quality, standards compliant, web applications.

You will be focused on working with our team to provide the best possible outcomes for our clients, and will:

• Plan, build, test and support the development of website applications
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their specifications and requirements
• Participate in team meetings and help to identify opportunities to continuously improve processes
• Provide support to clients with ongoing application maintenance when needed
• Continue to learn and grow your career

About you

As a Full Stack Web Developer you will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a developer, with a solid understanding of Object Oriented PHP and/or MVC frameworks and JavaScript frameworks
• Good knowledge of frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony. Experience with the Silverstripe framework and CMS is advantageous.

You are:

• Self-driven to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to a high degree of client satisfaction
• Quality focused - you embrace code reviews, testing and refactoring
• Have a passion for continuous learning and growth as a developer

Your technical skills and experience cover the following:

• High competency in PHP / MySQL / Apache
• Strong javascript experience including ES6, React, Angular, NodeJS etc
• Sound knowledge of front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS and tooling such as Gulp and Webpack
• Commercial experience using APIs / SDKs to interface with various external systems
• REST APIs, JSON/XML
• Previous experience in Magento and Wordpress
