You will lead a multi-award-winning coworking and coliving space in the middle of the green rice fields of Hoi An - with the freedom to make it even better.
Hub Hoi An brings together digital nomads from all over the world and helps them live their best lives: productive, social and healthy. Together with a small, friendly team we run a coworking, coliving and a café - but it feels more like a community center for an ambitious crowd of globally minded young professionals and entrepreneurs.
We are looking for a practical, proactive manager who enjoys leading people, getting things done and making a business run better. As our General Manager, you are the primary leader of the business. You run the daily business, lead the team and develop initiatives to solve problems and improve profitability. After onboarding, the owner will mostly only support you in the background, usually through one call per week.

What you will do
Run daily operations across coworking (primarily), coliving and the café, including maintenance, team & suppliers. Step in and be hands-on when needed, step back to see the bigger picture whenever possible, and delegate clearly.
Set priorities, plan the team's work and keep your promises. Make time for important improvements, not only daily tasks.
Lead and grow the team. Set clear expectations, give useful feedback, help each person develop, and solve problems early and fairly.
Put members first in your decisions. Work with our Community Manager to keep the atmosphere welcoming and the service reliable.
Find problems and opportunities, build simple systems and processes, and improve how the business runs.
Use financial reports, scorecards and member feedback to make decisions, control costs and grow profit.
Make most decisions yourself. In your weekly call with the owner, share updates, suggest ideas, raise concerns early, and agree on bigger decisions. You're invited and expected to challenge decisions or priorities when needed. Truth > Diplomacy.
