The Product Development Executive supports Hotosu product development from research, benchmarking, supplier coordination, sample follow-up, packaging support, launch preparation, to post-launch feedback tracking. This role helps the team develop personal care accessories, beauty tools, grooming tools, skincare accessories, and related consumer products that are practical, commercially relevant, and consistent with Hotosu brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
● Support market research by collecting competitor products, consumer reviews, pricing, claims, packaging references, retail observations, and trend information.
● Prepare benchmark tables and product comparison notes to support product concept and development direction.
● Support first-draft product briefs by preparing product information, target benefits, benchmark references, size, material, function, usage, and supplier inputs under guidance.
● Help collect product ideas, consumer pain points, and improvement opportunities for
Brand Manager and senior team review.
● Supplier, Sample & Document Coordination
● Coordinate with suppliers on sample requests, basic product information, quotations, MOQ, lead time, packaging options, and document follow-up under guidance.
● Track sample status from request, receipt, internal review, feedback, revision, approval, to storage.
● Collect and record sample evaluation feedback from internal users, Brand Manager, QA/QC, and related teams.
● Flag missing information, unclear supplier feedback, delayed samples, quality concerns, or timeline risks to the Brand Manager or senior team members.
Market Research & Product Input
Product Testing & Quality Support
● Support basic product checks by collecting feedback on function, usability, material, finishing, fitting, durability, packaging fit, and consumer experience.
● Collect and organize supplier documents, product specifications, test reports, packaging files, and approval records.
● Support QA/QC by preparing product information, sample status, specifications, and defect-standard inputs for review.
● Track required documents and testing status with suppliers, QA/QC, and related teams.
Packaging, Launch & Post-launch Support
● Support packaging input preparation, including product information, usage instructions, warnings, selling points, and packaging references.
● Help check consistency among product information, packaging copy, supplier documents, sample experience, and approved direction.
● Prepare product information, sample status, packaging updates, selling points, and basic training materials for Sales and Marketing teams.
● Collect post-launch feedback, customer issues, sales input, and improvement ideas, then report them to the Brand Manager or senior team members for
review.
● Perform other related duties, projects, or assignments as assigned by company management based on business needs.

● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality Management, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome.
● 0-2 years of experience in product development, product coordination, sourcing, buying, merchandising, QC, retail, consumer goods, or related functions.
● Interest in personal care accessories, beauty tools, grooming tools, skincare accessories, and consumer products.
● Detail-oriented and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple products, samples, suppliers, documents, and deadlines.
● Basic understanding of materials, packaging, product quality, supplier coordination, and manufacturing process is a plus.
● Good Excel / Google Sheets skills for tracking, comparison, and reporting.
● Good problem-solving skills and structured thinking; able to coordinate tasks across teams under guidance.
● Familiar with AI tools to support research, comparison, documentation, and first-draft summaries; outputs are checked before use.
● Good written and spoken English for supplier emails, product documents, sample follow-up, and timelines.
● Flexible and quick to adapt to changing briefs, timelines, and priorities.
