We are seeking a dynamic and community-minded Head of Human Resources to lead all HR operations at our 1,600-person garment factory in Thai Binh, Vietnam.
This role suits an experienced HR leader from the textile or garment industry who understands local labor dynamics, can attract and retain talent, and builds strong community and government relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with factory production and business goals.
- Advise the Board on optimal staffing levels based on actual workloads.
- Lead and develop the HR team to deliver efficient, people-focused services.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, customer standards, and internal regulations.
2. Workforce Planning & Recruitment
- Forecast manpower needs and manage full-cycle recruitment.
- Build hiring and training pipelines through local community networks.
- Drive creative digital recruitment campaigns on Facebook, Zalo, and TikTok.
- Support training and evaluation of new and existing employees to drive productivity.
3. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Maintain strong relations with employees, local authorities, and community leaders.
- Oversee labor law compliance, payroll, and HR administration.
- Represent the company with state agencies and customer auditors.
- Resolve employee concerns and promote a fair, safe, and respectful workplace culture.
4. Culture, Training & Development
- Build a positive, inclusive corporate culture aligned with company values.
- Plan and organize training programs to enhance staff capability and leadership.
- Lead employee engagement activities to strengthen morale and retention.
5. HR Policies & Cost Control
- Manage HR budgets, labor costs, and compensation structures.
- Develop transparent policies on salary, bonuses, and benefits.
- Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining compliance and employee satisfaction.
Yêu cầu
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years' HR experience in the garment or textile industry.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor laws and local labor markets (Thai Binh preferred).
- Proven recruitment and community engagement experience.
- Skilled in HR operations, cost management, and digital hiring.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Vietnamese national; local candidates highly preferred.
