Job Purpose
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance evaluations and employee counselling.
Job Responsibilities
1. Recruitment
Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff
• Prepare and assure that updated job description and approved Staff Requisition are on hand before advertising any vacancy internally or/and on reputation and suitable advertising agents.
• Check CVs and applications, respond to every applicant using proper email template at each stage of the recruitment process.
• Assist in shorting-list CVs and schedule and organize interviews
• Conduct reference checks on preferred candidates
• Prepare letter of offer to selected candidates and send letter of rejection to unsuccessful candidates.
• Conduct exit interview.
2. Training and development
• Conduct orientation program to new local employees.
• Organise annual training and teambuilding for different groups of staff
• Explore external training coach/providers toward CPD plans and organize the trainings.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the respective training programs by obtaining feedback from employees.
• Maintain training result and records.
3. Employee benefits
• Attend to employees' grievances and complaints; provides guidance if necessary.
• Provides guidelines and assistance to employees in Personal Accident Insurance program/Health care program/bank account opening/register personal tax code.
• Organise annual health check-up for local staff.
4. HR Administration
• Collect, review, update and maintain proper filing of staff profiles.
• Assist in drafting out promotion letter/reference letter/others.
• Monitor attendance records on a regular basis and ensuring consistent application; identify absence/lateness problems, verbally review them with the employee and advise the employee of the consequences of continued problems.
• Conduct reports to external authorities such as Dolisa, Doet and internal audits as request.
• Assist on Performance Appraisal plan for local staff.
• Work on service/commerce contracts, maintain in good record and filling.
Any other appropriate duties as allocated by the
HR Manager.
