Job Summary
The Import
Customer Service Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating import shipments to ensure smooth, timely, and efficient delivery from vessel arrival to final handover to customers. The role requires close communication with clients, shipping lines, and internal departments to maintain high service quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive and verify shipping documents (B/L, invoice, packing list, etc.) and update vessel schedules accurately.
• Submit e-manifest filings in compliance with local regulations.
• Issue Arrival Notices to customers in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with shipping lines/agents and arrange payments to obtain Delivery Orders (D/O).
• Issue Delivery Orders (D/O) to customers accurately and on time.
• Monitor customs clearance progress and support customers with necessary information or documentation.
• Arrange inland transportation and ensure timely delivery of cargo.
• Proactively handle shipment issues such as delays, missing documents, or additional charges.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates and resolving inquiries efficiently.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams (Sales, Documentation, Operations) to ensure smooth and on-time shipment handling.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company procedures and service standards.
