About the Role: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing & Merchandising Executive to support our IP management team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our physical product lines, ensuring that merchandise tied to our entertainment properties is developed, approved, and brought to market smoothly. You will work directly with the IP Manager to coordinate with licensors, local vendors, and retail partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Merchandise Development & Approvals: Assist in the end-to-end product development process. Submit product concepts, designs, and physical samples to licensors for approval, ensuring all items strictly adhere to brand guidelines.
- Sample Management: Maintain an organized inventory of pre-production and production samples. Track the status of all merchandise approvals and ensure deadlines are met for product launches.
- Vendor & Licensee Coordination: Act as the day-to-day point of contact for local manufacturers and licensees. Help resolve production queries and ensure they have the correct design assets and style guides.
- Market & Competitor Tracking: Keep a pulse on the local merchandise market. Research trends in entertainment consumer products to suggest new merchandise categories or promotional items.
- Administrative Support: Draft licensing contracts, manage royalty reports, and maintain an organized database of all merchandise agreements and product catalogs.
- Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure merchandise is effectively integrated into theatrical releases, series premieres, and promotional events.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, product development, brand licensing, or a related field.
- Industry Passion: A strong interest in the entertainment industry. Familiarity with Japanese IP (such as anime or tokusatsu) and pop culture trends is a significant advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple product pipelines and approval stages simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You must be comfortable liaising politely and professionally with international IP owners and licensors.
- Languages: Business proficiency in English is required.
