We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern with a strong aptitude for data analysis to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data, while also contributing to data-driven insights for process improvement. You will gain valuable experience in reconciliation processes, learn about financial operations within a Fintech company, and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our business.
General:
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve outstanding items and improve data quality.
• Adhere to internal controls and regulatory /process requirements related to reconciliation.
1. Reconciliation (60%):
• Compare and verify data from multiple sources, including internal systems, and third-party reports.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for.
• Resolve reconciliation issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain detailed records of reconciliation activities and findings.
2. Data Analysis (40%):
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of risk as well as improvement.
• Develop and generate reports to communicate findings and insights to the stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and improvement of reconciliation processes based on data and company workflows.
