Job Description
Administer Servers (Win server 2k8, 2k16), Virtual server (Hyper-V, VMware vCenter), Network System (firewall, Router, Switch), ensure all system run smoothly, change configuration when necessary and continuously optimize the network system
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware or software faults
Setup and maintenance devices PCs, Printer, Email... for users
Set up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
Provide service desk support for end users
Assist IT Manager in procedural documentation and relevant reports
Support the roll-out of new applications
Test and evaluate new technology
Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Other jobs as assigned by Manager.
Requirements
English communication is a must.
A bachelor's degree in Information Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Previous experience in Help Desk position is a must
Knowledge and skills in LAN/WAN, Internet Service System, Computer Server System, backup systems, network/workstation peripherals, software application and computer hardware etc.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Lotus Note
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Report writing and presentation skills
Strong sense of responsibility
