Follow up plans of sample building and/or new products to design tools/jigs on time.
Monitor operations of making tools/jigs/fixtures to correct and improve immediately any issues and update design drawings accordingly.
Produce high quality, reliable and cost-effective jigs & fixture designs.
Compile design drawings, review and verify the made tools/jigs/fixtures with Quality Control Engineer to make sure it is good for use or need further improvements/modifications.
Standardize design of parts and layout of fixtures/jigs to improve performance/cost/quality and processing conveniently.
Interface with relative personnel to actively troubleshoot problems as well as continually improve the process. Ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved pertain to Safety, Quality, Production, Cost Standards, and Operational Excellence.
Participate and assist in the development of new process technology, equipment, and projects.

To accomplish this, the tool
designer must satisfy the following objectives:
Provide simple, easy-to-operate tools for maximum efficiency.
Reduce manufacturing expenses by producing parts at the lowest possible cost.
Design tools that consistently produce parts of high quality.
Increase the rate of production with existing machine tools.
Design the tool to make it foolproof and to prevent improper use.
Select materials that will give adequate tool life.
Provide protection in the design of the tools for maximum safety of the operator.
To train, educate and ensure all subordinates abide and implement all requirements in documents specified in TVN.
To train production personnel in new equipment and processes.
To ensure monitoring and verification of all activities of subordinates.
Abide Company Regulation and all documented manuals, procedures, work instructions of Thermtrol (VSIP) Co., Ltd (TVN).
To perform other ad-hoc duties when assigned by the superior.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering.
Fluency in reading, writing English

Knowledge in product analysis
Familiar with testing equipment

Experience: Fresh or one year experience in Machine/Fixtures Design Engineering in mfg plant.
