Who we are:
We are an early-stage startup that operates in the US market, but we believe that VN talents can build an American dream. The product that we build has the potential to connect US resources to VN people, which will accelerate the globalization process of a developing country like VN. If you want to be a part of a small team with a big dream, please join us.
Long-term values are what we care about in both business strategies and people. We want to build a company that lasts and are more interested in long-term benefits than short-term profit. Similarly, we are willing to invest in our people. If you have a good work ethic with the will to learn quickly and wear multiple hats, we will be happy to provide extensive training on the hard skills that you lack. We also believe that no matter which position you are in, you need to have good leadership skills and business understanding. Therefore, we provide weekly training on business and technology and encourage you to actively participate in the decision-making process of our company.
Responsibilities:
- As a Product Manager at an early-startup, you might be a Product Designer, a Project Manager, and a Product Marketer. You must wear multiple hats, and that's probably the best thing to work at a startup.
- Conduct experiments and campaigns for user study (both Beta users during pre-launch, and continuous user feedback loop after product launch)
- Research and analyze market, the users, competitors, the roadmap and growth opportunities for the product
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Construct and deliver persuasive impactful communication to field force teams to give brand direction and get their alignment.
- Deliver impactful innovative marketing activities, define and monitor KPIs to maximize ROI and marketing activity effectiveness.
- Follow our competitors and the industry
Must Have:
- English requirements: fluent reading and listening skills to learn training materials, good speaking and writing skills to communicate with the US team in the future
- You embrace chaos, uncertainty, and can hack your personal growth and the product growth in that dynamic and fast-moving environment. After all, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!
- You are obsessed with beautiful and intuitive UI design. You believe a modern digital product needs to be both seamlessly functional and aesthetically pleasing
- You have outstanding communication, presentation skills and ability to motivate and lead a team
- You are a creative thinker with a vision, possessing good business acumen and leadership skills.
- You believe that "the devil is in the details!"
Nice to Have:
- Have experience with InVision studio and Photoshop (or willing to learn them quickly) to participate in the - Product Design process including building prototype, iterate design based on user feedback, and translate prototype into a functional product
- Knowledge about Agile process and principles, or willing to learn them
- Obtained, or currently in the final year of pursuing degrees in Computer Science, IT, or Engineer
Last but not least, we want to build more than a workplace. We are a family of enthusiastic idealists who are foolish enough to think that we can change the world, so we welcome all passionate people who are willing to put your heart and soul to carry out the big vision. You can have jobs or work, but the best thing is to have a calling. If you are truly called by our vision, then you are likely to be a good fit.
Benefits:
- Online training courses from US and in-house leadership and startup training programs
- Experience a highly professional environment: learn and use cutting-edge technologies; work with a modern and data-driven workflow that is proven as best practices in US tech companies
- Opportunity to work directly with US talents to function as an international team. In the future, you might have the opportunity to travel to our US office
- Good compensation package based on performance and value creation. Opportunity to own stocks/ shares in a highly potential US tech startup
- High opportunity for promotion to key positions. You are willing to take risks on our early-stage startup, so we are willing to take risks on you and give you the best opportunity to grow professionally and personally
- Flexible hours and environment: can occasionally work from home, additional US holidays
- Transparent sharing about growth, achievements, missions & visions of EOwn
Application:
- Resume
- 1-page Cover letter to tell us more about you: your favorite books, your career goals, what are you looking for when working with us, and how you are a good fit for this position
- Nice to have: sample of your work or project portfolio. This can be your project reports, code repository, published articles (share with us the URL of Google Drive, Dropbox, or Github)
- Nice to have: read 1 of these 2 books, or both if you have the will: "High Output Management" from Andrew Grove, and "Principles" from Ray Dalio. For each book, write a 1-to-2-page essay on your take from the book. What points in the book resonate the most with you? Is there anything that you disagree with the author? (even if you don't apply for this job but are serious about business management and entrepreneurship, you definitely should read these books!)
