Primary Objective: A Labor Safety Executive is responsible for proactively planning, implementation safety program and internal trainings to ensure safety compliance in AVN operation activities; support to other departments in incident investigation and corrective action plan; support operation labor safety officer network and committees to achieve company safety objectives.
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Implement health & safety program & site inspections (40%)
- Plan, prepare and implement yearly health & safety program including training, inspection for all stores (GMS, SMPT, SSS...);
- Plan and implement and coordinate with Academy and Admin Departments in developing and implementation compliance safety trainings as legal requirement;
- Prepare, plan and implement GMS routine safety inspections and follow up corrective action in regular labour safety committees meetings with Trade Union and Store labour safety officer network (mạng lưới an toàn vệ sinh viên);
- Participate, support and check 5S program at store and office and record good and improvement practices;
- Prepare and implement regular safety inspection at stores (weekly, monthly) including pandemic prevention requirement
- Implement safety hazard identification and risk assessment in AVN operation, follow up and inspection proposed corrective and preventive actions.
- Implement safety working improvement program to increase employee satisfaction
2. Accident and incident investigation (20%):
- Support Labor Safety Deputy manager in preparing, analizing internal labor safety data and reports;
- Participate and support in accident investigation at all sites to ensure follow RCA (root cause analysis) and effectively corrective actions;
- Review and improve safety risk assessment when there is an incident happens and recognize secondary risk (if any);
- Follow up corrective and prevention plan of investigation report conclusion with other relevant departments.
3. Procedure, Rules and Regulations (20%)
- Update and provide instruction to all stores if there is any new Vietnam legal of labor safety or any relevant legal/AJP requirements;
- Review and update internal safety guidelines, procedures, regulation according to new Vietnamese safety law;
- Check, inspection, remind and guide subordinates to follow the company rules and regulations..
4. Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by
HR Manager (15%)
5. Other duties (5%)
- Report to the goverment on issues related to health& safety quartely & yearly
- Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Deputy Manager.
University or College degree.
At least 2 - 5 years of labor safety experience.
Knowledge of related labor safety regulations and laws of Vietnam.
Self-motivated, highly committed, hard-working and responsible to work under pressure
Good command in using MS. office
Good interpersonal & teamwork skills
