ABOUT THE ROLE
Source of Asia is organized by Operational Business Units (Sourcing & Supply Chain / Market Expansion / Corporate Services & HR Solutions / Digital), supported by cross-departments Business Units (Strategy / Business Transformation / Marketing & Communication /
Business Development / Internal).
Reporting directly to our COO, also one of the Managing Partners of the company and member of the Board of Management, the Market Expansion Director will be one of the leaders at SoA and therefore the main link with other Business Units, both operational and supporting. As such, they will also take part in cross-departments task forces, projects and discussions.
This position is a strategic hire to strengthen and redefine the Market Expansion function at SoA. The Director will build a unified Business Unit organized around outcomes, strategizing, enabling, and sustaining Market Expansion in and/or out of ASEAN and South Korea. Work will be structured as projects, each owned end-to-end, from strategy to delivery, by teams assembled from internal and external resources as needed, rather than run along fixed divisional lines. This operating model is expected to drive business growth while defining the team's future leadership structure.
The Director will have direct ownership of the department's P&L and will be primarily assessed on achieving the Business Unit's internal and external objectives.
Above all, the role requires strong leadership to align internal and external resources around results, strategic thinking to design, execute, and adapt plans as conditions evolve, and a P&L-focused mindset with clear ownership of financial outcomes.
