The Role
As a Production Planner in our PPC (Production Planning & Control) team, you will turn customer orders into executable production plans, balancing capacity, materials and delivery dates so every order ships on time. You will work closely with Merchandising, Production, Warehouse, QA and Logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain master and line-loading plans based on order books, capacity and lead times
Check material readiness (fabric, trims, accessories) and follow up on shortages to protect start dates
Monitor daily output against plan, identify delays early and propose recovery actions
Allocate orders between in-house lines and outsourcing/satellite factories
Coordinate with Merchandising and Logistics to confirm or revise ex-factory dates
Prepare planning reports and KPIs (on-time delivery, capacity utilization, WIP) for management
Contribute to improving planning processes and applying new tools and automation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Textile/Garment Technology, Business or a related field
1+ year of experience in production planning, preferably in garment or apparel manufacturing
Understanding of garment production flow (cutting - sewing - finishing - packing), SAM/SMV and line capacity
Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP, planning systems or data tools is a plus
Knowledge of VBA, Power Query, or experience applying AI tools at work is a strong advantage
Good English communication (reading, writing, email)
Eager to learn and open to new technology
Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
