I. Role Overview
The National Sales Director acts as a strategic business partner, owning and leading the company's nationwide commercial operations.
This role holds full business ownership - from strategy and organizational design to client development and revenue delivery.
Key scope includes:
• Building and leading the nationwide sales organization
• Expanding and managing strategic client portfolios (Key Accounts / Enterprise Clients)
• Owning revenue growth, operational efficiency, and team performance
A high-impact role with clear KPIs and full authority to deliver results
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic
Business Leadership
• Define and drive mid- to long-term commercial strategy
• Identify growth opportunities through market, industry, and customer insights
• Lead go-to-market strategy, pricing models, and revenue planning
• Expand market presence across industries, segments, and regions
2. Nationwide Sales Operations & Leadership
• Design and operate the national sales structure (organization model, KPIs, processes)
• Lead sales planning, target allocation, and performance management
• Build and develop high-performing sales teams (Sales Leaders, Key Account, BD)
• Drive team capability, accountability, and succession readiness
3. Key Client &
Business Development• Build and maintain relationships with strategic clients and senior stakeholders
• Lead high-value deals, negotiations, and partnerships
• Develop client growth strategies across segments and industries
4. Business Ownership & Execution Excellence
• Own and deliver:
o Revenue growth
o Commercial execution effectiveness
o Team performance and output quality
• Ensure cross-functional alignment to optimize business outcomes
• Establish performance tracking systems and continuously improve execution
III. Authority & Decision Rights
• Full authority to design and optimize the nationwide commercial organization
• Final decision-making in hiring key sales leadership roles
• Ownership in shaping and executing client strategy, pricing, and business models
• Direct leadership in closing strategic and high-value deals
Operate as a true business owner, not just a functional leader
IV. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related fields
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in senior commercial leadership roles (Sales Director / Business Director / Commercial Head or equivalent)
• MANDATORY: Proven experience in one or more of the following industries: Advertising / Media / DOOH / Digital / Retail Media
• Strong experience managing large-scale, multi-region sales teams
• Proven track record in:
o Winning and growing enterprise / key accounts
o Delivering large-scale revenue targets
o Building or transforming sales organizations
• Strong strategic thinking with high ownership and result orientation
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills (C-level exposure)
• Bilingual proficiency: English - Vietnamese (or Chinese - Vietnamese)
• Preferred age range: 35 - 45
