1. Purpose Statement:
To source, develop and deliver products that meet the requirement from Kingfisher group and align with company's strategy.
Develop and maintain good communication with counterparts in the triangular team (Quality Assurance, Supply chain)
Develop and maintain good communication with suppliers and internal customers.
2. Main responsibility:
Support the Senior
Merchandiser to manage all sourcing activities to develop Vietnam Buying Office (VNBO) Turnover by delivering, qualitative sustainable and competitive projects
Perform vendor discovery activities to identify new supplier according to the category's strategy, taking them thru Kingfisher Minimum Standards and benchmarking them as part of the due diligence process
Prepare all the relevant documents for preparing annual negotiations
Work independently in projects, ensure project CPAs are updated and communicated to the relevant parties in a timely manner, follow-up on all the processes and documents, highlighting major issues to superior and provide possible solutions
Ask and receive vendor quotations. Ensure all quote sheets, SAP forms and PI forms are accurately completed prior to sending to Opcos in a timely manner
Manage all internal application/systems to assure that the projects are implemented on time in full
Check product samples, quotes, artworks and packaging to ensure that all customer requirements are met.
Adequate internal communication with relevant teams such as Supply Chain, QA to avoid miscommunication and ensure all CPAs are managed and OTIFEF targets are met
Helping Senior merchandisers to prepare category trips
Able to work independently to handle big amount of administrative tasks with deadline
Relevant working experience is an advantage
Good communication skills
Good time and project management skills
Good PC skills
Educational Qualification Diploma holder major in Business (
Purchasing or Marketing are advantage)
Industrial / Product Knowledge Preferably with sourcing experience, DIY product
Languages Fluent spoken and written English

Travel Requirements: (% & where) 20% per month require traveling
