Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for an Ocean Logistic Manager (Open to Korean Expats, $6000, ID 21416):
Directly manage and streamline comprehensive Ocean Export and cross-border trucking operations dedicated to electronics sector clients.
Supervise, audit, and coordinate the performance of third-party Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and international freight forwarders to ensure flawless sea freight execution.
Enforce and monitor monthly operational KPIs, with specific accountability for transit schedules, on-time shipping indicators, and cargo arrival metrics.
Take full ownership of operational conflict resolution by investigating client grievances, identifying root causes, presenting tactical workarounds, and implementing immediate adjustments.
Serve as the primary liaison with strategic forwarding networks, shipping lines, and intermodal transport partners to streamline cargo movement.
Command the mitigation of exceptions and irregularities (IRRE), including high-stakes procedures such as shipment recalls, administrative holds, DO/BR/SR cancellations, and insurance claims for cargo damage or loss.
Drive internal alignment and cross-team collaboration within the SDSVN division to enhance daily operational throughput.
Consolidate financial data and present strategic Revenue Reports directly to the expatriate Korean Group Leader upon request.
Maintain an agile communication channel to deliver swift, professional, and definitive responses to premium customer inquiries.
Structure and deliver comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance briefings to the Executive Board of Management.
Execute further leadership tasks and operational assignments as directed by the Korean Group Leader.
Requirement
Nationality: Korean National (Strictly Required).
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably with a major in Logistics, Global Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or Business Administration.
Experience: A distinguished track record of at least 10 years of progressive professional experience within the Logistics sector, with concrete expertise in Ocean Export Operations and cross-border trucking.
Technical Skills: Advanced mastery of standard corporate computing tools and office automation software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Communication: Exceptional, professional-grade English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Core Attributes: Highly resilient and positive mindset, with a proven capability to manage multi-task operational portfolios under demanding supply chain pressure.
