Training topics/phases:
Analog Internship Training Program (Hochiminh City)
Introduction - General overview of Analog Mixed Signal design - all focus areas will be described:
- Design environment, Linux, Perl, CShell
- Analog Introduction
- CMOS circuit and layout/fabrication process, FINFET introduction
- CMOS physical effects: System, Random and Gradient factors
- CMOS realibility: EMIR, ESD, Lactchup
PHASE 2: Deep training
- Layout/Schematic design tool flow (Synopsys)
- Layout verification flow (Calibre, ICV)
- Trial layout with engineer supervisor to practice the tools and theory
- CMOS physical effects: System, Random and Gradient factors
PHASE 3: Hands-on project
- Independent or team assignment for a small project to complete the layout for a real complex design block under the supervision of eSilicon engineers
- Practice layout all techniques, considerations
- Illustrate layout effects: Parasitic, LDE
- Electro-migration, Voltage drop (EMIR) effect
- Design verifications for manufacture, reliability (DRC, ANT, Density, DFM)
- Design review and feedbacks.
