Your responsibilities:
You will be joining the People Operations Department as a leader and you will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Talent Acquisition (50% of working time)
- Partner with Hiring Managers / Delivery Managers to clarify headcount plans, job requirements, hiring priorities and interview processes.
- Own end-to-end recruitment for all functions, with a strong focus on technical roles (Developers, QA, PM, BA) in an IT outsourcing environment.
- Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, Facebook groups, IT job boards (e.g. Joboko, TopDev, Joboko), referrals and tech communities.
- Track and improve recruitment KPIs (time to fill, offer-acceptance rate, pipeline quality, retention during probation).
2. Training & Development (30% of working time)
- Design and organize training activities to support both technical and soft-skill development.
- Work with department heads to identify skill gaps and propose targeted training plans (internal sharing, external trainers, e-learning, mentorship programs).
- Build and promote a learning culture: internal tech talks, brown-bag sessions, knowledge-sharing between projects, and onboarding training for new hires. [protected info]
- Recommend organizational improvements (team structure, roles, workflows) to increase productivity, collaboration, and morale.
3. Compensation & Benefit (10% of working time)
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages
- Coordinate with Finance on payroll accuracy, statutory deductions, PIT and mandatory insurances.
4, Employee Relations (10% of working time)
- Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors
- Plan and support engagement & culture activities (team building, company events, surveys, recognition programs) to maintain high morale in a project-based, outsourcing context.
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 3-5+ years of HR generalist or HR Manager experience, preferably in an IT outsourcing / software / tech environment.
- Strong track record in recruiting tech talent and proactively sourcing candidates.
- Hands-on experience in training coordination and/or L&D program support.
- Solid understanding of Vietnam labor laws and HR compliance.
- Good communication skills in Vietnamese and English (written & spoken).
- Data-driven, organized, proactive; comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
