Main roles of Plant Quality Manager is to:
- Manage and ensure Factory Quality Management systems compliance with international standards as well as
Group Quality policy
- Implement quality standards by harmonizing local and export countries' regulation
- Manage the Central Laboratory
- Manage and optimize quality costs
- Manage EQC activities and handle market complaints to improve Quality performance and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with cross functional departments to deliver CI projects following DMAIC/DMADV approaches
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1) What are the principal and permanent missions of the job:
Principal Responsibilities :
Industrial Quality
• Support all the departments to promote ISO approach and consolidate FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, ISO
14001 & Halal certifications
• Lead Internal quality management audit to ensure the system compliance and practical approach
• Build up "Zero Defect" mindset for all staffs with clear action plan / roadmap
• Organize/supervise the supplier audit and improve the quality of product or services.
• Support to launch new products and implement new techniques or new facilities. He/she is involved in any modifications to technologies, materials, and packing and ensures that all precautions have been taken to guarantee the quality of products, the safety of people and property, and compliance with environmental standards.
• Guide HSE Manager & Admin Executive for Hygiene issues/audits (canteen, pest control, security,
etc...)
• Ensure the products compliance to customer's regulatory (local & export)
• Analyze and justify market complaints to take appropriated actions to solve / improve
• Maintain the adequate organization in Quality department to match with required activities
• Positive release of our Finished Products in SAP
• Surveillance of QC activities performed by Production department
Market Quality
• Local Quality representative within Bel's organizations
• Responsible to follow-up the finished products quality in the market (EQC)
• Manage Supply Chain Quality Executive in Head Office
Safety & Environment
• Excellent awareness of Safety & Environment impact
• Commit to achieve Zero accident of department in both Safety & Environment
• Ensure compliance with Safety & Environmental regulations and legislation in daily operation
Budget management
• Propose and monitor the annual operating budget for his/her department in conjunction with
controlling and the orientations set by Plant Director
• Optimize Quality Cost following "Right Quality" instead of "Over Quality"
• Eliminate and achieve "Zero Non-Quality Cost" objective
• Proposes investments to optimize performance in terms of analysis methods, product quality &
hygiene at the factory
Principal Activities:
• Assess the team's skills to develop people following the business needs
• Define and implement the adequate training program to support the quality activities in all
departments.
• Follow up of documents control and internal auditing processes.
• Follow up the analysis the trend of finished products; propose and get alignment the action plan with relative department to improve Process capability (Cpk) in monthly quality performance meeting
• Organize and manage laboratories activities.
• Leading and following up the implementation of new quality projects, Best Practices & Standards (from the group or local initiative).
• Participate in preparation and implementation of new projects (qualification, new suppliers, new
processes)
• Organize warehouses and distributors audit
• Non-Quality costs monitoring and improvements
• Keep update to align with any revision of local/export standards/regulations and be sure that our
products are compliance with any changes.
• Conduct daily (PSC2), weekly (PCS3) and monthly (PCS4) Quality reviews to make sure that
adequate preventive actions are taken for all the deviations. Monthly report to Plant Director and
Platform Quality with relevant KPI's.
• Keep good relationship with authorities, especially with the Ministry of Health and Food Administration.
• Support Regulatory Manager in Vietnam and other export countries:
A] Crisis management
B] Supporting documents related to regulatory and food safety
2) Give examples of type of problems that the job titular meets and try to describe the nature and the degree of complexity:
• Need to solve quality & food safety problem within short time and ensure the effectiveness of problem solving
• Cooperate with different stakeholders to improve the quality performance and ensure the process reliability following Quality Fundamental Deployment (QFD) with Quality Tools support
• Implement and adapt quality objectives following Business context
• Inspire the team to contribute LEAN Six Sigma projects as Project Leader & sponsor
• Be an active member of BEL VN Crisis Management Team to manage the crisis if any
• Manage local & Asia/ASEAN scope
• Conduct yearly Quality Training for Sale /MKT team
3) Indicators of Performance / Impact on Results :

- Effectiveness of the handling of Group auditb
