Mô tả công việc
Position Objective:
Oversee and coordinate the development of new products in the categories of mattresses, beds, bedding, and sleep accessories. Lead the product development team, build supplier sourcing strategies, manage quality - cost - timeline, and represent the company in working with strategic partners both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate the Sourcing - Product Development Team
Develop work plans and assign tasks based on the company's product development goals.
Guide, train, and supervise team members to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
2. Build & implement sourcing strategies
Establish a supplier network aligned with each product segment and geographic region.
Lead supplier capability evaluations, negotiate commercial terms, and manage partnership effectiveness.
3. Represent the company in working with strategic partners
Communicate and negotiate directly with domestic and international suppliers, including OEM/ODM partners.
Accompany senior leadership in partner meetings, trade shows, factory visits, or brand collaboration projects.
4. Coordinate new product development
Manage the full product development cycle from ideation to prototype, and present product plans to relevant departments.
Ensure product design, materials, features, quality, and cost align with the company's strategy.
Research market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to propose new products suitable for each segment.
Participate in technical development, product design, sample production coordination, and product evaluation.
5. Control quality, cost, and timeline
Monitor sample development and pilot production progress; resolve issues related to technical specifications, purchase orders, cost, or quality.
Update and standardize product data in the ERP system and internal training materials.
6. Internal communication and training
Prepare documentation for new products, conduct internal training, and support communications for Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing teams.
Yêu cầu
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Design, Engineering, Supply Chain, International Business, Industrial Management, or related fields.
At least 4-5 years of experience, including 2+ years in team management or leading multiple product development projects in bedding or home consumer goods. Experience in bedding manufacturing is a plus.
Strong knowledge of product structure (foam, fabric, fiberfill, wood, springs, etc.), manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
Required Skills:
✅ Proficient in business English for negotiation, partner meetings, and technical documentation.
✅ Advanced skills in Excel (cost breakdown, pricing analysis), PowerPoint, ERP systems, and product presentation tools such as Illustrator (AI) or Canva.
✅ Strong analytical thinking, ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Capable of managing a team, mentoring specialists, and being accountable for output quality.
Willingness to travel regularly both domestically and internationally.
