Role and Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Delivery

• Create a product roadmap in collaboration with the business using market, customer and business insights to inform your decisions
• Use data to help with decision-making and identify optimal impact areas
• Continuously experiment and test new growth initiatives to optimise and improve the product
• Monitor and adapt the product vision and roadmap as things change in the market, and with our business

Backlog Management

• Apply a strategic mindset to user story prioritisation and delivery
• Balance business goals and customer desirability with what can feasibly be delivered (technically and within available time)
• Represent the business, customer and brand in decision-making prioritisation during release and sprint planning
• Able to identify, filter and prioritise customer complaints and feedback

Collaboration and Team Management

• Collaborate with designers and product leadership team to plan, undertake and input results of testing and performance measurement into future release and roadmap planning
• Work with our Design Team to ensure interface designs appropriately meet the wireframes, user stories and acceptance tests
• Collaborate with Technical Architects and Developers to ensure the product vision and designed solutions are feasible and viable
• Collaborate with finance, business operations and support teams to create rollout and implementation plans for existing customers, while tending to support tickets as the subject matter expert

• Demonstrated experience working in an agile squad with a mature development team
• Experience working across multiple streams in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment, including external partners
• A love of delivering innovative and interesting solutions
• Proven facilitation skills
• A genuine passion and empathy for both our customers and our team members
• Expertise in modern forms of product planning, customer discovery, product discovery, and product development process and execution
• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and ambiguity, with ability to analyse information logically to make evidence-based decisions and present them accordingly
• Emotionally intelligent, strategic innovator with proven ability to influence all parts of the system required to create sustainable change
