MÔ TẢ CÔNG VIỆC
- Implement and manage Better Rice Initiative Asia (BRIA) 2nd phase - Market Oriented Smallholder Value Chains (MSVC), which is a public private partnership with Olam international.
- Promote the public-private-partnership with the objective to improve rice quality and farmers' incomes, and market linkages and enhance the capacity of farmer cooperatives.
- Provide technical advice on agriculture to national and provincial authorities in Vietnam.
- Manage several service providers who design and implement capacity development measures for farmers (trainings, workshops and others)
- Be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the project activities.
- Actively shaping the cooperation between all involved institutions from the public and private sectors
Yêu cầu
YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC
- MSc degree in agriculture and rural development or equivalent.
- Good skills in English language, in speaking, reading and report writing.
- Experience in executive functions in private sector; research institute; development cooperation and/or public administration of minimum 5 years.
- Impact of climate change, climate smart agriculture, sustainable use of natural resources at community level.
- Comprehensive knowledge of agricultural production technologies and farm economics.
- Practical knowledge of Integrated Pest Management and implementation of sustainability and quality standards would be an asset.
- Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
