Mô tả công việc
As a Purchasing Manager in direct material purchasing, you will develop purchasing strategies for your area of responsibility in close cooperation with the functional departments (e.g. R&D product development and technical development, business units and tesa plants). This requires constant analysis of spend, future needs, development of the sourcing market with the aim of translating stakeholder requirements into the right sourcing activities. You understand how to achieve add value for tesa. Your specific tasks include:
• Comprehensive project management for the purchasing part of the corresponding projects including identification of potential suppliers, negotiations, nomination and development of suppliers according to the requirement profile and monitoring and ensuring compliance to purchasing processes throughout the whole project and project team
• Active and self-driven further development of purchasing strategies in your area of responsibility
• Identification and realization of optimization potentials within the supervised spend categories and projects, e.g. polymer films, -fabric and -foams, adhesive components, chemical derivatives
• Definition of the right measures and project goals as well as development of suppliers and supplier portfolios in close cooperation with the international users and stakeholders
• Implementation of national and international tenders and purchasing projects including contract and price negotiations as well as contract management
• Challenge value chain transparency - design to cost approach
• Actively supporting the global procurement network with regards to process & system improvements to strengthen the overall procurement process reliability and performance
Yêu cầu
• With your outstanding communicative and social skills, you will help to strengthen and expand the cooperation between the functional departments and purchasing.
• Professional (female / male) with a master's degree in a technical-commercial and / or scientific discipline
• Minimum of 5 years in ideal case 10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in project purchasing and / or in category management
• Project experience in international and cross-functional teams
• Independent and structured / analytical way of working
• Comprehensive knowledge of contract law and management and compliance
• Fluent spoken and written English
• High willingness to perform and motivation
• Excellent negotiation skills and assertiveness
• High business partner mentality
• Needs to travel with main focus Asia but also internationally
* Working location: Preferably the job holder should be based in Haiphong. However, a more flexible arrangement with shared working time at Hanoi office and Haiphong Plant (minimum 1-2 days at Haiphong plant) will be considered.
