Responsibilities
The QA/QC Director is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control processes in the furniture manufacturing industry. The role ensures that products meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This position requires expertise in furniture materials, production processes, quality standards, and compliance with safety and sustainability regulations.
• Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards. Follow up the technical drawing, work with factory about technical, construction of the products.
• Evaluate new product samples, review design changes or quality improvements on new or existing products before presenting to clients.
• Working with factory, third party lab to make sure the product meets the requirements before shipping.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures, processes, documentation to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Proactively provide risks assessment and implement solutions to prevent problems.
• Analyzed and categorized customer claims to monitor product performance and identify issues. Conducted root cause analysis on product issues and discuss solutions with factories. Reviewed and approved corrective actions.
• Responsible for building and implementing the strategies, policies, procedures, templates, quality standards.... of QA- QC
• Responsible for leading, manage, supervise, train, coach, motivate team members with more than 40 staffs
• Ensuring that the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the QA -QC strategy as defined.
• Monitor and report on quality control performance for all products.
• Make relevant reports.
• Attend PP meeting as required.
• Other tasks requested by line manager or BOD.
