Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Quality Manager (Automotive, Open for Chinese Expat, 4500 USD, ID22734):
Direct, streamline, and govern all plant-wide quality operations, encompassing Customer Quality, Advanced Project Quality, Process Quality, Supplier Quality, Quality Management Systems, and the Testing Laboratory.
Delegate duties, offer technical guidance, and empower sub-ordinates to ensure effective task execution and goal achievement.
Implement MBO methodologies across QC teams, tracking KPI metrics to achieve zero-defect delivery standards.
Mentor and develop quality department personnel to meet organizational performance metrics.
Resolve customer complaints and quality issues in a timely manner; lead customer audits while cultivating strong, trusted relationships.
Align internal processes with customer-specific requirements (Quality Agreements, NDAs, system access authorization).
Contribute to the formulation of FMEA, Control Plans, and validation frameworks for new production lines and products.
Coordinate customer PPAP submissions along with DV/PV product qualification protocols; drive cross-functional Project QRQC initiatives.
Conduct internal audits to grant line release approval for new project launches.
Standardize inspection workflows (IPQC, Final Audit); facilitate Area QRQC and champion Monozukuri principles.
Lead Gemba Walk implementations to systematically elevate overall plant operational competence.
Manage raw material non-conformities, incoming inspection standards, supplier RM PPAP, and ongoing vendor evaluations.
Partner with Corporate SQE teams to rectify underperforming suppliers, manage change control procedures, and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain quality certifications and systems (IATF 16949, DUNS code, ISO), technical documentation, and audit program schedules.
Supervise calibration, testing, and measurement equipment management.
Fulfill additional business-related duties as assigned by the direct manager.
Requirement
Nationality & Location: Chinese national, willing to be based full-time in China.
Age & Education: Bachelor's degree or higher; 26-46 years old
Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (Quality Manager) within automotive manufacturing company
Deep understanding and practical knowledge of ISO / IATF 16949 standards.
Excellent English communication skills across all 4 skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing)
