Regional Finance Accounting Manager

Your Key Responsibilities
Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational
budgets and actual expenditures
Establish (in coordination with CFO) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets,
program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all
programs,
Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets,
policies, procedures, and workflows
Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an
environment of trust and productivity
ensure compliance of local , state and federal tax laws
coordinate with external auditors on local closing and Group auditors on Group IFRS
closing
Who We Want
· 10+ or more years of professional accounting experience managing a team across countries and strong in operations;
· Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
· Working knowledge of both IFRS and local accounting standards
· Working knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance reporting
· Experience in managing payroll, with focus on streamlining accounting processes
· Accounts consolidation across countries
Advance
Masters in accounting and preferable, audit experience in a big 4;
· Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
· Professional certification, such as ACA, CPA (certified public accountant) or CA
(chartered accountant)
· Excellent communication skills and knowledge of excel/ powerpoint
· Good temperament and prior experience in tech will be preferred and maintain confidentiality
· Should be able to travel - can be based either in Malaysia or Vietnam
