Get to know the Role:
· Handles all safety-related matters in the country. This means working in cross-functional teams and with external partners on projects, business processes, policies and product features affecting safety.
· You will also help track safety metrics and hence support the country management with safety insights and advisory.
· Lastly, you may represent Grab during safety campaigns/events; and be deployed as liaison officer dealing with media/ regulators/ injured parties during incident management.
The day-to-day activities:
· Support the safety function in your country cluster
· Advise the leadership and management teams on safety matters
· Support overarching safety management plans and projects
· Develop safety training content and deliver training for driver partners
· Implement safety policies and processes
· Work with product team to continually innovate on the safety features of app
· Actively monitor the safety KPIs for your country and develop early preventive measures
· Develop and implement monitoring system for safety incidents
· Conduct regular training to strengthen internal incident response capabilities and crisis resiliency
· Adhere to safety audit roadmap premising on industry best practices and recommendations from safety accreditation bodies
· Be a passionate advocate for road safety for both users and drivers
Yêu cầu
The must haves:
· 3 - 5+ years of experience
· Analytical mindset with ability to present and execute on actionable findings
· Critically observant about safety trends.
· Ability to execute policies and procedures with minimal guidance to prevent and mitigate safety risks
· Passionate about safety training for driver partners
· Possess excellent problem solving/decision making, communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to manage investigations, some complex and highly sensitive, individually or as part of a team covering all areas of the business
· Ability to work independently or virtually in a minimally structured and fast-paced environment
· Self-motivated to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to meet deadlines
· Travel on ad hoc basis expected
· Conflict resolution experience preferred
· Project management experience preferred
· Preferably a degree / pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields (but not mandatory)
· Minimally bachelor's degree
· Proficiency in productivity tools (email, calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Experience with law enforcement, government or private sector counterparts preferred
