POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION: Direct report to Business Development Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROSPECTION AND SALES DEVELOPMENT
• To develop the company customer portfolio, for all of our destinations, as per the strategy and objectives defined with the Business Development Manager
o To be responsible for the development of 1 geographic area: 1 to 2 targeted countries per business development executive depending on their past experience, language skills and existing portfolio: USA/Canada, Australia, Europe (UK and Italy)
o Prospects: tour operators, travel agencies, online platform
o Prospection: phone, emailing, trade show, sales call
o Work closely with the company marketing manager and the business development manager to focus on new business development opportunities to ensure profitability and turnover in line with company objectives
• To maximize revenue opportunities and define sales objectives with your new contracted clients
o Identify your new contracted clients' needs and define sales objective with them
o Work closely with our sales and production teams to provide suitable and competitive offers to your clients
o Develop and maintain excellent understanding of your key clients ensuring need are met and business is retained
SALES OPERATION
• To create programs and quotations for all our countries
• To follow up your files with the operation team
REPORTING
• To analyze the sales data and booking forecast and to promptly and accordingly take corrective measures
COMPETITIVE & MARKETING INTELLIGENCE
• To conduct a pro-active competitive and marketing Intelligence on your market
Yêu cầu
PROFILE REQUESTED
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and business development in the tourism sector
• A proven track record in achieving aggressive growth target and building strong relationships with cli-ents
• Strong English language skills (both verbal and written). It would be an advantage but not necessary to speak fluently Italian as well.
• Efficient using MS Office
COMPETENCIES
