With an ambitious growth plan, we are looking for a commercially driven and technically minded Sales &
Business Development Manager to help us develop new markets and strengthen our sales organization.
2. The Opportunity
• This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys developing new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and growing markets.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to expand the company's presence in new industries and gradually build a stronger sales team to support future growth.
• This position is ideal for an experienced
Technical Sales Engineer, Business Development Engineer, or
Sales Team Leader who is ready to take the next step in their career.
3. Key Responsibilities
a) Business Development
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in agricultural and food processing industries.
• Build relationships with factory owners, plant managers, production managers, quality managers, and other key decision-makers.
• Promote and sell technical solutions, equipment, and services.
• Develop opportunities within coffee, rice, pepper, flour, grain, and food ingredient sectors.
• Conduct customer visits, technical discussions, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
• Work closely with international suppliers and technology partners.
b) Sales Growth
• Expand the company's customer base and market coverage.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales forecasts.
• Achieve agreed sales and business development targets.
c) Team Development
• Support the development of the company's sales capabilities and processes.
• Participate in recruiting and mentoring additional sales personnel as the business grows.
• Contribute to building a high-performance sales culture focused on customer value and long-term relationships.
1. Education
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Agriculture,
Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business,
or related disciplines.
2. Experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2C/B2B sales, technical sales, business
development, or industrial equipment sales.
• Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and develop
customer relationships.
• Experience selling technical products, industrial equipment, engineering
services, or industrial solutions.
3. Preferred Background
Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly desirable:
• Agricultural processing
• Food processing
• Coffee processing
• Rice processing
• Spice processing
• Flour milling
• Industrial equipment
• Pest control and fumigation services
• Food safety solutions
• Post-harvest technologies
• Existing relationships within these industries will be considered an
advantage.
4. Skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand technical solutions and communicate value to
customers.
• Commercially driven and results-oriented.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
5. Language
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Comfortable participating in meetings, presentations, training sessions,
and discussions with international partners.
