1. Position Summary
Organoid Science Vietnam is seeking an experienced
Business Development /
Sales Team Leader to lead commercial growth in Vietnam's healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, hospital, university, and government-related sectors.
This role is responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, developing sales channels, and expanding Organoid Science Vietnam's presence in the local market. The ideal candidate should have strong networks with hospitals, universities, research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, government agencies, or medical product distributors.
This is a key leadership role for someone who can combine scientific understanding, commercial execution, stakeholder management, and long-term business development.
2. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Strategy
Develop and execute business development and sales strategies for Vietnam's healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical, academic, and government-related markets.
Identify new business opportunities in areas such as:
• Hospitals and medical centers
• Universities and research institutions
• Pharmaceutical and biotech companies
• CROs, diagnostic companies, and medical laboratories
• Government-funded healthcare or R&D projects
• Medical product distributors and healthcare solution providers
Build a sales pipeline and manage the full business development process from lead generation, client meetings, proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract closing.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and regulatory/business opportunities in Vietnam.
Key Account & Partnership Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including:
• Doctors, clinicians, researchers, and professors
• Hospital management teams
• University and research center leaders
• Pharmaceutical and biotech company executives
• Government agencies and healthcare-related institutions
• Local distributors and strategic partners
Act as the main commercial contact point for major accounts and strategic partners.
Support long-term partnership models, including joint research, service contracts, pilot projects, distribution partnerships, and institutional collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree or above in one of the following fields: Biotechnology, Biology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical science, Business administration, Healthcare management Or related fields
• Minimum more than 7 years of experience in business development, sales, key account management, or commercial roles in one or more of the following sectors:
Biotechnology company, Pharmaceutical company, Medical device company, Hospital business development team, CRO / laboratory / diagnostic company, Healthcare distributor, Government healthcare project-related organization
• Strong existing network with hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, government agencies, or healthcare distributors in Vietnam.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, institutional sales, partnership development, or project-based business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Vietnamese and strong English communication skills.
