The Job
As a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang), you will ship software that matters. You will play an important role in helping MatchMove scale as the leading BAAS provider in Southeast Asia. You will innovate on architecture, write impactful software and generally contribute to enhance output across the Technology Team.
You will get the opportunity to contribute to:
- Develop, manage and maintain a cross-regional, B2B payment transactions systems at scale.
- Building robust and world-class experiences for our customers.
- Support internal and external consumers of your Product.
- Ensuring a robust, self healing end to end automated payment infrastructure.
- Handling localizations and regulatory requirements across various regions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain large, complex projects.
- Scrutinize, rationalize, defend and own significant technology and architecture decisions taken.
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure comprehensive delivery.
- Drive predictability in terms of engineering output and the product roadmap.
Your Skills and Experience
- 4 to 6 years of engineering experience.
- Strong in-depth knowledge of Golang is required.
- Experience with transactional RDBMS such as MySQL & Postgres along with strong fundamentals of schema design.
- Hands on experience on developing, maintaining and scaling APIs.
- Experience in a git based code management workflow is a must.
- Understanding of best practices for securing your code.
- Strong grasp of enterprise software design patterns and data structures.
- Understanding cloud based deployments and workflows and understanding of scaling code in production.
- Having a Team-oriented approach so as to effectively participate with team members across regions, as well as work cross-functionally with other organizations.
- Vocal, passionate and driven about solving problems via engineering.
