Senior DevOps Engineer AWS, SQL

• Build and configure AI platforms on top of cloud-based or on-premise infrastructures.
• Implementing CI/CD pipeline across multiple types of software applications and infrastructure.
• Handle code deployment in all environments.
• Continuously enhance reliability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructures.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to prepare and deploy "production-ready" solutions with high-security standards and to improve the service's performance.
• Keeping the systems run smoothly 24/7/365 and being ready to support on critical systems.
• Monitor metrics and work out improvements.
• Maintain a scalable infrastructure to handle rapidly growing traffic.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose the issues encountered.
• Lead and mentor the devops team to follow all processes and best practices laid out by the team as well as contributing in developing said processes.

Basic requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering roles.
• In-depth experience of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS,...) and other cloud provider, AWS certification is a plus.
• Strong experience in Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka.
• Experience working with SQL & NoSQL databases.
• Deep understanding about Linux system, networking knowledge and security principals.
• Strong experience around infrastructure automation & deployment strategy.
• Strong experience around monitoring & logging.
• Ability to design with modern infrastructure operation in mind, including metrics, logging, observability, automation, etc.
• Ability to work in a 24/7/365 service environment.
• Ability to deal with difficult stakeholders.
• Take responsibility for SLA & SLO.
• Good English communication is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Proficient in scripting languages.
• Fan of open source solutions.
• Experience with configuration management tools and infrastructure as code.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and performance tuning of complex, high-traffic, distributed applications.
• Experience with performance and scalability testing.
• Troubleshooting, bug scoping and good problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of some security & compliment certificates is a big plus (ISO27001, GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Knowledge of MLOps, AI/ML concepts is a plus.
• Loves to automate things and eliminate toil.
