We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Legal Counsel to manage the resolution of all in-house legal and compliance matters for Buymed's supply chain sectors in Vietnam, with a high potential for exposure to the regional markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all legal matters for the supply chain sectors of the corporation in Vietnam, including contract management, and resolution of legal matters; provide legal advice on operational matters, including regulatory compliance, healthcare and pharmaceutical laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and revise various types of contracts, and support business teams in contract negotiation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements; implement due diligence processes and activities within the country (or in the region) to enforce a structured approach to legal & compliance management.
- Support the Head of legal and compliance in the management of key litigations/arbitrations (if any), interactions with external legal counsels, and represent the country in key legal proceedings to ensure the company's interests are well protected.
- Review and lead the reporting of key findings related to existing and potential legal risks, including recommendations to mitigate risks from an operational perspective.
- Manage to get the proper licenses (GDP, GSP, GPP, etc.) and the respective post-license compliance.
- Give accurate and timely counsel to executives on a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, corporate finance, etc.).
- Collaborate with the management and the Head of Legal and Compliance to devise and implement legal defensive or proactive strategies.
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree in law (or above).
- Proven legal counsel having a minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, with a combination of at least 2 years of experience in the law firm & at least 2 years of experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical sectors (either law firm or in-house environment), preferred to have the experience in getting the GPs licenses.
- Strong understanding of the laws of Vietnam, especially the healthcare-relevant laws, regulations, and best market practices; familiarity with international laws and regulations that might impact the pharmaceutical sector.
- Excellent communication in both Vietnamese and English and interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
- A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
