We currently have an open vacancy Senior Project Manager work in the Advisory Group Industry & Buildings (I&B) Vietnam.
The successful applicants will be working in a very positive and professional environment. We offer on-the-job-training by international experts, good labor conditions and the possibility for inter-company rotation, if wished also outside Vietnam.
The objective on this position is to ensuring all projects are delivered using a 'best-practice' Project Delivery Approach and are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality.
This role has the potential to be two-fold, firstly overseeing the portfolio of ongoing projects, providing expert knowledge and support. Secondly managing projects/programmes directly.
The role is expected to provide strong leadership in a matrix environment to promote best practices in managing interrelated projects and programmes to ensure successful delivery. This role will also ensure project resources have the correct toolsets and processes in place and that all relevant staff are trained and equipped to deliver successfully.
Strong project or programme management and excellent organisational skills are fundamental, as is the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organisation.
Role responsibilities and activities:
• Providing technical, managerial and proposal support as required
• Manage key projects of our key clients
• Be an advocate of the organizations' Project Delivery Approach
• Scope and shape the requirements of the Project Delivery Approach across the organisation
• Devise, produce and implement new systems and processes to optimize more effective project management as required and within the framework of the organizations' Project Delivery Approach
• Facilitates sharing of best practices through informal communities of action
• Encourage knowledge transfer and lessons learnt activities within the Department and business project teams to drive best practice
• Meet and liaise with Clients regarding ongoing and potential projects
• Be aware of Client needs and focus on Client satisfaction
• Monitor progress against plan and take appropriate action to ensure compliance
• Site visit as required
• Undertake continuous professional development to meet customer requirements for example initiate training programs
• Contribute with ideas and plans to articulate the strategy to contribute to our Strong22
Yêu cầu
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master Degree in Engineering (Civil/industrial /Mechanical/Electrical), Architect or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Significant experience at a senior level in a Project Management or PMO Function
• Recognised formal project management qualification (PMP/APMP/Prince2/P30 or equivalent) is a must
• Developed project/programme management and planning skills and experience
• Ability to manage a range of projects types and complex business initiatives and change programmes
• Ability to and experience of providing input to organizational business and budget planning
• Team management experience with the ability to manage and motive matrix project teams
• Experience of being a Business Partner and managing those relationships
• Ability to juggle different projects/priorities and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure
• Capability to provide timely, accurate and relevant project and portfolio reporting as agreed
• Experience of resource planning against the prioritised portfolio of projects
