Specification Engineer

Purpose:
· Provide customers, consultants, designers, owners, etc. with full and clear Sika products, Sika product systems for their projects in order to get specified on the design documents.
· Follow project from documentation, design state up to sale state in order to make sure we can reach up highest turnover on project.
· Provide in written and spoken to designers, consultants product specification and drawing where needed.
· Assist Manager in transferring product technology, technical knowledge to Technicians and Sales staff.
· Ensure an excellent level of technical service is provided to customers.
Main responsibility:
1. Provide written and spoken recommendations, product specification for customers (contractors, consultants, designers, dealers...).
2. Follow project with customer (consultants, designer, Owners..) to get Sika products specified
3. Provide correct method, specification, drawing to customer with high technical expertize.
4. Train customers and Sika Vietnam staff in product knowledge, special new products, new technology
5. Constantly review the Sika Vietnam product range, Method, drawing and ensure it meets the demands of our customers.
6. Suggest new products to launch in conjunction with Manager.
7. Ensure good transfer of technology to Technicians and Sales staff and Customer
8. Keep contact with relevant customers in specification work
9. Inform the Line Manager/ Sale Manager about the projects and our position in projects.
10. Be personally responsible for the follow-up of activities and projects which you have been assigned to ensure customer satisfaction
11. Keep appropriate records and necessary reports.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager/ North Branch Manager
