Sr./Lead Software Engineer Java/Python

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Backend Engineer (Java/Python) passionate about building scalable, high-performance backend systems to support MoMo's advanced fintech products.

You will:

• Design and develop: Build robust, scalable, and reliable backend systems using Java or Python, serving millions of users.
• Optimize performance: Improve and maintain system performance to ensure load handling and reliability in a high-transaction environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Product, Data, and AI teams to integrate Machine Learning systems, Data Platforms, and AI products into our payment platform.
• System architecture design: Contribute to designing microservices architecture and manage the full product lifecycle from design, deployment, to monitoring.
• Approach and research new technologies to apply to the company's/team's projects;
• Collaborate with project leaders and other stakeholders to get projects done on time with high quality;

• The must-have
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of backend development experience with Java or Python.
  • Strong programming skills in Java/Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles and design patterns.
  • Code Quality: Focus on code quality and best practices, and ability to ensure code quality in the work.
  • Code Review: Ability to review code, identify bugs, and provide feedback to ensure code quality standards are met.
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
  • Familiarity with running large-scale microservices and high-performance services.
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration skills.
• The nice-to-have:
  • Experience with gRPC.
  • You have a proven track record of tackling complex technical challenges and delivering effective solutions, particularly in the realm of AI and machine learning is a plus.
• Tech Stack:
  • Java,Python, Redis, HBase, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and BigQuery
  • Experience with GCP and complex codebases.
