Get to know the role
Support the Strategy & Planning Manager in formulating strategy and key initiatives to grow Grab products and services in Vietnam with critical competitors understanding & intelligence on partners, users & competitors and provide recommendations to improve key metrics of the organization.
The Day-to-Day Activities
● Develop frameworks to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess the impact of proposed solutions
● Understand & timely update macro & market factors that may impact to overall Grab businesses in Vietnam
● Monitoring & tracking competitor movements, activities, business directions and generating insight to support business decisions. Deeply understanding differences, pros & cons of Grab vs others players, able to recommend new product features which are suitable for business.
● Planning & perform exploitation research to understand Drivers, Merchants & partners issues, POV
● Planning & performing quantitative research to support the decision making process
● Able to partner closely with all business stakeholders across different functions to set and implement the research scope
● Manage end-to-end data projects; identifying issues, gathering information from various sources, analyzing data, interpreting patterns, and trends with the purpose of generating insights about the market, presenting data and follow up key actions
● Managing field work teams, ensuring data quality & workload of the team.
● Conduct industry analysis and research with respect to competitive market trends to drive business insights
● Willing to conduct periodic field visits, talk to merchants and drivers to understand the market situation and gather insights.
Yêu cầu
● Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. MBA is a major advantage
● Fluent in written and spoken English
● At least 4 years of experience working in Market Research
● Experience in business analysis and market research
● Ability to use various metrics to analyze complex cases
● Experience in data extraction and manipulation
● Ability to use data visualization to create meaningful insights
● High level of adaptability in working in a high-pressure working environment
● Dependable and reliable with timely follow-up
● Results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly
