Surveillance Operator

To maintain the strict surveillance necessary for the prevention, detection and apprehension of persons involved in any illegal or adverse activity; and to log and report such activity to the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager.
To ensure all irregular, unusual, suspicious, or illegal activities are logged and reported as soon as possible.
To possess a broad range of skills that are competency based giving them the ability and flexibility to meet staff/customer needs.
To strictly comply with the "Code of Ethics" at all times.
To play an active role in all loss prevention and safety programs as directed by the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager.
To ensure that all surveillance equipment is functioning correctly and to report any malfunctions to the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager immediately.
To play an active role in the departments digital library system.
To assist with investigations as directed by the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager
To ensure the accuracy and neat recording of all activities, as required, in the logs and reporting formats used for the CCTV operation.
To safeguard all confidential information and to exercise due care to prevent its improper disclosure or use.
To comply with all company rules, regulations, policies and procedures; and to perform all duties in accordance with the highest professional standards at all times.
To execute other duties as directed by the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager.
Other duties as required.
