System Engineer Server/Storage/SAN

We are looking for a System Engineer to join Shinhan DS Vietnam. This role is not a system administrator position.
we are seeking a hands-on field engineer who will directly install and build IT infrastructure on-site.
The candidate must be capable of seamlessly performing the physical deployment and configuration of servers, operating systems, storage, and SAN switches at customer sites.
Additionally, you will be required to collaborate with project teams and group affiliates to design infrastructure and resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Infra System Field Engineering Execution
• Directly install and build systems, including server installation, OS installation, SAN switch installation, and storage installation.
• Design and implement project IT infrastructure (servers, storage, SAN, network connectivity).
• Analyze requirements and perform OS configuration (Windows, Linux).
• Conduct troubleshooting and resolve issues for systems.
• Prepare and review equipment quotations.
  

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a System Engineer or a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics & Telecommunications.
• Strong, proven, hands-on field engineering experience personally performed-including server installation, OS installation, storage installation, and SAN switch installation (must be your own direct experience, not observed or managed).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in system and infrastructure environments.
• Experience in preparing quotations and performing cost estimation for IT infrastructure deployment.
• Good English communication skills to collaborate effectively with international vendors and partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building/implementing backup solutions (personally performed).
• Your CV must clearly demonstrate the deployment, installation, and troubleshooting work you personally carried out (servers, OS, storage, SAN switches).
• Applications without clear, self-performed field experience will not be considered.
