About us: K&M Holdings is a dynamic startup in Hanoi specializing in SaaS/AaaS solutions. Our flagship products include an IP Telephony platform built on Asterisk, a coalition loyalty app, and AI-powered customer care agents.
About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tech Lead to drive the technical vision for our IP Telephony platform. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing robust telecommunication solutions using the Asterisk framework. You will lead a team of
developers and collaborate closely with product managers and external telecom providers to deliver a high-quality, scalable, and secure VoIP system. Your expertise will be key in defining architecture, ensuring system performance, and integrating cutting-edge telephony technologies that meet both current and future business needs.
Responsibilities:
• Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the overall system architecture for the IP telephony platform, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Core Development: Serve as the principal coder; write and review critical code components, modules, and integrations with Asterisk and VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, etc.).
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a small team of backend and frontend developers, establishing coding standards, best practices, and agile methodologies.
• Integration & Collaboration: Work closely with product management and external telecom providers to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement improvements for call quality, reliability, and security.
• Innovation: Stay updated on emerging telecommunication trends and integrate new features or protocols as needed.

Candidate requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in telecommunication systems, VoIP technologies, or related domains.
• Proven expertise with the Asterisk framework and associated protocols (SIP, RTP).
• Strong programming skills (preferably in C/C++, [protected info] and Python) and a deep understanding of network and telecommunication infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud-based telephony integrations and containerization technologies.
• Experience in agile project management and modern CI/CD practices.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of delivering complex technical projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
