About Product & Design team at HHG

You will essentially be the owner of the problems assigned to you and you will decide how they get solved while ensuring a great customer experience through user research and then designing a great user experience and interface. So ownership mindset and customer first thinking is the mindset we aim to have as the core as Product and Design team members at HHG.

What will you do?

• You will play a pivotal role in helping HHG shape its entire user experience strategy, by creating compelling user journeys across mobile and our web platforms
• Conduct in-depth research to clearly understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Use these insights to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Present your design solutions with clear evidence and rationale to gain buy-in and support from key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders on a daily basis to manage expectations and deliver on design objectives.
• Define a long-term design vision with clear end goals, as well as short-term objectives to iteratively improve the user experience. Establish success metrics to measure the effectiveness of your designs and be objective about the results.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new design tools, techniques, and trends to stay at the forefront of user experience design

• 3+ years of industry experience in UI/UX design or similar roles.
• Experience designing for both web and mobile apps is a plus, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• User-centered mindset: always start with the user to understand their problems and needs, and be an advocate for their experience.
• Ownership: take responsibility for any design aspect that impacts the user experience and always know the next steps to improve it.
• A structured approach to breaking down complex or ambiguous design challenges into manageable pieces. Ability to define a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that prioritizes the most impactful design elements.
• Humility: maintain a 'keep learning' attitude and don't shy away from conducting ground research (talking to users, studying competitors, analyzing feedback) to uncover new insights.
• A strong understanding of design principles, user flows, and the overall process of development, testing, and iteration.
• Proficiency in English, as many of your direct stakeholders will be based out of Vietnam.
