[World Vision International] Regional Leader - East Asia

As Regional Leader, East Asia, you will direct regional operations of World Vision (WV) and provide oversight to 8 countries (Cambodia, China, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, North Korea, Thailand and Vietnam) by ensuring effective management of ministry in alignment with WV's Vision, Mission, Core Values and global strategic directions.
This includes all areas of operations including but not limited to strategy management, people management, financial resource management, risk management, Board/Advisory Council and partnership engagement while at the same time managing the performance and effectiveness of WV's work in the 8 countries and the Regional Office.
The role will represent, position, enhance and protect World Vision's ministry in the region both internally within the WV Partnership and externally to relevant audiences and bodies. WV Thailand, WV Mongolia, and WV China have governing boards, and WV Myanmar has an Advisory Council.
Eligibility Note:
We welcome applications from qualified leaders across Asia. We particularly encourage East Asian professionals currently living or working abroad who are interested in returning to the region to apply. The successful candidate will be appointed on local employment terms in their home country in Asia where World Vision is registered to operate.
Location: Bangkok, Thailand, or any East Asian country where World Vision is registered to operate.
