Accounts Payable

* Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing and processing all vendor invoices and payment documents in line with company policies.
- Maintain the Accounts Payable sub-ledger and ensure timely payments based on contract terms.
- Match invoices with the Daily Receiving Summary and verify alignment with approved Purchase Orders or order forms.
- Ensure all invoices are inspected, stamped, and accurately recorded.
- Prepare payable vouchers, record expenses in the journal, and generate payment checks.
- Confirm accuracy of payment checks (amount, signatures, mailing address) before dispatching to vendors.
- Stamp all paid invoices and documents before requesting authorized signatures.
- Send payment checks along with remittance advice to vendors.
- Review and input petty cash reimbursements into the accounting system.
- Record all issued checks in the Cash Disbursement Journal.
- Support the preparation of the monthly Accounts Payable schedule and assist in month-end financial reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with hotel policies and internal controls; escalate issues to supervisors as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
