Business Development Manager - Contract Logistics Department!
Work location: Vincom Center, 72 Le Thanh Ton, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
Work hour: From 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. One Saturday morning per month.
Job description:
You will be part of our Contract Logistics team adding your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Business Growth.
Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new Contract Logistics business by coordinating all business development actions + triggering opportunities for larger accounts at a country or cluster level.
You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
• To develop + manage a sizeable pipeline of opportunities, actively driving each opportunity through the entire Customer Engagement Cycle.
• To lead commercial negotiations + create high quality business proposals.
• To actively develop + maintain customer contacts along with a network of prospects.
• Establish strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
• To actively network + link with other colleagues (Subject matter experts, Vertical Specialists,
Account Managers) at every level of the organisation, from global to regional to country.
• To highlight achievements in the business development space using a variety of dynamic tools.
• To capture + manage business + market intelligence, ensuring the communication of same to key stakeholders.
• To drive + roll-out yearly business development plans.
Your skills and experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related fields.
• Strong sales and business development experience. At least 7+ years working experience in
Sales Logistics or others relevant, experience in Contract Logistics is a plus.
• Understand the logistics market well (both warehouse + distribution) + be familiar with tender process + build relationship with local authorities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
• Customer orientation and drive results.
• Good command of English.
